A short bit where I talk about my videos where I discuss the foundational concepts that are driving our lives. These videos talk some about my own self development over the past few years, and I dive into what I found running beneath all the different types of work I did.

Introduction - Foundational Truth Series (1 of 5)

Defining the relationship:

I, Emily Athen Gaiser, fully acknowledge and proclaim that I am not a therapist; nor am I licensed or certified in any way to tell you what to believe or how to live your life. I’m just sharing these things because this is who I am. I gained greatly from others who have let me know them and learn from them; and I know that I can do the same for others. If something in these pages helps you, fantastic! Pick up and carry what fits, and don’t worry about the rest.

The culture of this space is intended to operate with respect and care for one another. There’s a way of sharing opposing thoughts or beliefs without belittling, name-calling, cursing, or threats. “Listen to understand - not to be understood,” is a motto I’ve snagged somewhere along the way. I thought it was great, because I can be terrible at it. Every time I’ve managed to employ it, though, I’ve benefitted greatly. Sharing perspectives and experiences is wonderful! Proclaiming “right” and “wrong” is not what I’m going for, and I don’t intend to lend space to it.

That being said, It’s 2024 and I’m completely aware of conservative stances that are angrily opposed to people who believe many of the things I share on my website. It’s the reason I’m in a space without comment sections. If you decide to reach out via mail or email with a vendetta or rant about how you think the remainder of eternity will be for me, well…. whatever you want to burn your energy on is up to you. I won’t be sitting around entertaining it and crafting some nasty response. I’ll toss it as soon as I detect the judgement. If you reach out sweetly - on my behalf - to help me understand where I’ve gone astray, you should know that I’m not looking for your spiritual guidance at this time, thank you.

However, if you find something helpful and want to tell me about it, drop a line my way! If you are wondering more about an area I talk about, let me know. If I don’t already link out to something, I’ll put it on the list of topics to write about on Substack. I’d also love to hear about your experiences in relationship to what I share here. Share your (respectful) thoughts! I’d love it! When you email, use whatever email address is near the bottom of that page. It will help me keep things straight on my end when you do.

One more reminder: this is a work in progress and will grow and change.
